Writing
Where and What to Write
How easy is it for random events that happen in your life to derail any plans you have for the day? As a writer, I know that the first six hours I write in a day are the most important for me. My mind is quick. I can easily bounce from one project, complete it, and move on to the next. These days, my projects are either small or done in smaller chunks.
For instance, at least once a week, I sit down to allow some channeling to happen. Pieces that are smaller in size but can grow to 150 words. I like to work on these a week or so at a time, and then, once I am happy with them, I'll only change the misspelled words or perhaps some punctuation. I will then slip them into a JavaScript file that works with my website, Talking to Spirit.
In the beginning, I did them one entry at a time because if something bad happened in the coding, then I could back up one step and figure out what I did that was wrong. The test is to see that once the JavaScript file is updated, the area where the daily channeling is on the website works. However, the last time I updated, I did eleven updates at once and, in one move, saved myself 45 minutes. I did hold my breath, but everything worked out, so maybe now I've got it down pat and need not be so cautious.
That is an example of one small task that I do once a week. The goal is to have a year’s worth of channeled information so that I no longer need to add to it, and it will cycle over and over again from one year to the next. So far, I’ve got 48 entries.
I had that on my older version of the website, except that years ago, I went and published it as a book available to purchase on Lulu.com. I decided to do it again with the new Talking to Spirit website. I must tell you that as the years have passed, I have become better at relaxing, moving into a channeling zone, and simply allowing the guides, or more often Seth, to take the lead and do their thing. I need not worry about it, as I have one last opportunity to argue or correct minor errors due to my poor channeling, like typing you instead of the intended word of young.
As I mentioned, this task is best done when my world is quiet, either early in the morning or late in the afternoon. But I do need quiet to do it.
A daily task I’ve given myself is to write something upbeat in my Do-Good File. It’s just for me. Sometimes, if the idea is large enough, I will expand it into an article or perhaps a shorter piece for Facebook.
It’s been a while, but I also enjoy writing content for my YouTube channels. Once I figured out I could purchase time on TTS-Reader as I needed it for the voices on my videos. I cancelled my subscription at Eleven Labs, which was $22 a month to provide the voices I use in many of my YouTube videos. Additionally, I have come to realize the importance of creating shorts in addition to the videos I produce. I have four YouTube Accounts: one I’ve had for years with my own name, Pauline Evanosky. I write whatever I find interesting. Mostly, these scripts are going to be things that are similar to what I write at Medium and at Substack. They are generally about as long as the pieces I write at Medium and Substack; anywhere from 500 to 2,000 words long. Basically, a 2,000 word script gets me about 10 minutes of video.
Another YouTube channel, called The Best Stuff For Kids, is for kids learning things. We do counting, learning the alphabet, learning and spelling words. Just the fun stuff I remember doing at school. It’s a way for children to be exposed to learning outside of the classroom. I’m not an educator or a mother, but I was a child once upon a time. I enjoy teaching adults. I also enjoy teaching children. These videos are more difficult to produce. I do them all in Canva.com.
A third YouTube channel, Talking to Spirit, will focus on the same topics I write about on my website, Talking to Spirit. It’s about being a psychic and the various channeling techniques I employ. I plan to use a two-voice script that I think I’ll be able to do with TTS-Reader. By the way, the voices available at TTS-Reader are a huge improvement over the voices I had at ElevenLabs if you’re interested.
A fourth YouTube channel is called Just Passing Through. This one is geared toward an older audience. Pulling from the years of stuff that I’ve learned in my lifetime. It could be memories of childhood, of being a young adult, of being a middle-aged adult, and of being an older one. At 70 years old, I should know. What makes it really interesting are the years when I was going through menopause, developing Type II diabetes, and learning to be a psychic all at the same time. In everything that I do, now that I am a psychic, I am clear and happy with my spiritual life. I’d like others to be happy in their own lives. So, I push for that.
Another thing I do is post a weekly short piece on Facebook. I’ve got two other accounts, but I haven’t done much with them. One is for Talking to Spirit and the other for the kids.
Everywhere I write, I encourage people to read. I have Instagram and Twitter accounts, but I don’t post much there. I want folks to read. And folks don’t read much on those two platforms. As far as I can tell, it’s barfing up the same depressing news we hear so much of the time anyway. I’d rather encourage, motivate, or help people heal.
I haven’t made a lick of money doing any of this. But I am a writer and I’m writing as fast as I can.
Hey, thanks for reading. I hope this article might give you some ideas of other places you can write too. Let me know in the comments where and what you like to write.
Okay, once I schedule this for publication on Substack, I’m going to head back to a piece of paper, relax, and ask Seth to talk about something for a while. What would you like to talk about?
I’d say we can surprise you with something. Learning trust is important for you, and a person does not always have to know exactly where the next step will go. All you need is a goal. The journey can be your surprise.
Again, thanks for reading. Subscribe if you’d like, and I’ll see you next time.

Thank you!
It's been a tough week, heck it's been a tough year. Today specially struggling with the next choice and trying to figure it all out.
Your writing and ideas are important to me. I can't always read all, and yet today I felt to read yours, and of course Seth said...

I know the goal, I can choose to let the journey to to goal be a surprise 🥹
Thank you, both of you!
